Thing to do #36 See George Strait

It has been WAY too long since I saw the King of Country Music George Strait. He just doesn't come this way much anymore. I know remember why I used to go see him quite often. Before my "obsession" ;) with Third Day, George Strait was the only artist I had seen more than twice. I went with Ali (we seem to have the same tastes in music!). We had a nice evening.

George sang 25 songs! I do believe we got our money's worth!

Here is the set list:

Write this down

I just want to dance with you

Ocean Front Property

Wrapped

Run

The seashores of old Mexico

The Fireman

I can still make Cheyenne

Texas

Honk if you're honky tonk

I hate everything

Check yes or no

She'll leave you with a smile

Heartland

I ain't her cowboy anymore

How bout them cowgirls

The chair

Give it away

River of Love

Amarillo by Morning

Troubador

I saw God today

Unwound

ENCORE

Hightone woman

Folsom prison (Johnny would be proud!)

The cowboy rides away

GREAT SHOW!!!

My pics are not that great. I was too far away to get close ups. I took pictures of the screen so they are not crisp but good enough to say I was there. Here are a few of them....

Wow! So many of my favorites! I think "Unwound" has to be one of all time faves just because of its time. I wore out that cassette! LOL

Thank you for sending me this way, girl! I had no idea!

Hugs
